Abstract Neo-Expressionism acrylic paintings.
Flemington New Jersey

I'm into the New Yorkscene in the '80's. My work is almost a solid regurgitaion of some of the more prominent artists of that period.  Not on purpose though; it just happens to flow that way. Everything is intuitive; noyhing is planned or sketched out before I paint. If anything, I will sketch things out in paint and jsut keep working over it for a texture and rich comnposition. To me, the color and composition are the most important aspect of my work. The colors are balanced and used to create depth, which in turn utilizes all the space in the painting and emphasizes the synergy of the colors and what they make out. Detail becomes less important if you can turn off your optical focus and take in the whole painting, the color will hit you like a wave.
Ive had some success over the years with my work, but have only until recently become serious about it. It continues to evolve with each new peice, as even the ones on this site have. I also have added a few not up yet.
This is the very beginning for me, yet I feel I am on the verge of something big provided I stay prolific. The most important thing is, Ihave created an original style. It is obvious I have been influenced,as has everyone, and you could lump it into Neo-Expressionism, but the style and color is all my own. At this point, Im really just trying to get the right people to see it and maaybe help me market it. I know they are out there, somewhere in NewYork, and when I find them my life's dream will be realized.
